KILN is a studio of one. I take a website from first sketch to shipped code myself — concept, design, and build fired in a single run, with nothing lost in the handoff.
I design and build websites on my own, and I've never been able to keep the two apart for long.
What I can tell you is how the work goes. I take one project at a time, so the site you commission isn't queued behind three others. I write every line of it: no page builder underneath, no theme bought and re-skinned. That's why I can quote a fixed price instead of running an hourly meter.
Everything in the work section is self-initiated concept work. Nobody paid for it and no client brief shaped it, which I'd rather say plainly than dress up as case studies. It exists so you can see the standard before you spend anything.
Most sites lose their edge in the gap between the designer's file and the developer's code. Here there is no gap.
The person who draws it is the person who ships it, so the intent survives all the way to the last line of markup. There's no round of translation where the motion gets flattened, the spacing drifts, and the idea quietly becomes a template.
That's the whole reason to work with one maker instead of a chain of them: a site formed by a single pair of hands is more coherent than one passed between three. It also means one person is accountable for the result — the design, the code, and how it actually feels to use.
Everything shown here is self-initiated concept work, built to prove exactly that.
Each project is shaped for what it actually is — down to the motion and the last line of markup. No page-builder underneath, no reused theme.
When a project calls for 3D, shaders, or generative motion, I build the technique itself — not a static image pretending to be it.
Under the atmosphere, the basics are handled: performance, accessibility, responsive behaviour, and graceful fallbacks. Craft you feel, even when you can't name it.
No framework is a house style here; I pick the lightest thing that does the job. Most of these sites ship as static files with no build step, which is why they load fast and keep working.
prefers-reduced-motion honouredTier 01 — Signature. Ambitious 3D and interactive builds for launches, product brands, and anyone who wants a site people screenshot. Custom art direction, orchestrated motion, real WebGL when the project earns it.
Tier 02 — Essential. Fast, distinctive marketing sites for restaurants, studios, advisories, and small brands that deserve better than a template. A few key pages, tasteful motion, a genuine point of view.
Same pair of hands, same standard of craft. You choose the heat.
Tell me what you're making. There's no form to fill in and no discovery call to book: one email lands directly with the person who'd build it.
